Lyrical fragrances II
This other playlist is an extension of the previous one. Introduced by a cycle of eight pieces, "Chroniques macabres", imbued with the same rather dark atmosphere, to say the least, we stay almost in the opera. Seven songs sung, seven stories.
1) A buried deceased listens to raindrops splashing over his gravestone.
2) A man listens to the love of his life crackling in the fireplace.
3) A corpse comments on the tasting of his body through worms.
4) The story of a shoemaker whom a woman's scream never leaves like a shadow full of reproaches.
5) A corpse comments on its embalming.
6) In his hospital room a man describes his pain sitting at the foot of the bed.
7) The disturbing breathing of a sleeping neighbor.
